    Purpose of the Role:

    To work within a Transformation Unit supporting a specific area of the business, delivering high quality and cost-effective procurement and contract management support, in order to maximise on-going efficiencies and savings through robust practices that comply with internal Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations, the Procurement Strategy and other appropriate policies.

    To assist the Strategic Procurement and Contract Management Lead with the creation, development, maintenance and monitoring of the Procurement Pipeline, and the development of policy and strategy in relation to procurement and contract management.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Provide expert procurement and contract management advice to a specific business area.
    2. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the relevant business units and promote the principles of good procurement and contract management practice throughout the organisation and with partners to ensure that procurements are carried out in accordance with council policies and procedures, including Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations, Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability, Social Value and any other relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice including relevant legislation.
    3. Work as part of a Transformation Unit throughout the life of a programme/project to understand the required outcomes and provide specialist advice in relation to the current market, provider engagement, and procurement options.
    4. Support and lead high value, complex and/or transformational procurements in conjunction with the service area lead, Transformation Business Partner, and where required the Strategic Procurement and Contract Management Lead.
    5. Provide advice and support to the service area in relation to the development of procurement specifications, and throughout the life of the procurement, for example, with supplier questions and evaluation of tenders.
    6. Provide support and advice to Contract Managers to effectively manage contracts and provide assurance that contracts deliver the specified performance and outcomes within budget.
    7. Ensure that outcomes are clearly defined, and appropriate performance measures and outcomes are put in place as part of the procurement and contract management process.
    8. Assist the Strategic Procurement and Contract Management Lead to implement promote and embed internal and external policies and initiatives linked to procurement and contracting e.g., Social Value, carbon neutral, equalities.
    9. Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level.

  • Senior Care Worker – 30 hrs

    PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP 

    Our Prestigious client are looking for Senior Care staff to join their stable and happy workforce at their Cleethorpes location. They are looking for 30 hours post ,Permanent Staff, offering a friendly and caring welcome to staff with ongoing support as well as continued career progression. Ethical Recruitment funds your DBS along with training on the job and after a successful 12 week period you will join our client on a permanent basis.

    All applicants MUST have previous experience of working in a Care Home. 

    Senior Carer Salary: £13 to £13.50

    MUST have the following previous experience to apply:

    (Meds trained, NVQ L2 trained, 6 months experience in UK)

     HOURS are a rolling rota which includes every other weekend off, an example for a full time person this would be:

    08:00-15.00 and 15.00-22.00

    Covering weekdays and some weekends

    Purpose of the role

    • To take responsibility as the prime carer to provide for one or a defined group of Service users, assessing, developing, and evaluating programmes of care.

    • To provide a high standard of individualised social care, allowing the Service Users quality of life to be maximised in a caring, supportive, friendly, and safe environment.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain a high standard of care and comfort for all Service Users in the Care Home, with the help of other designations of staff, in line with their individual care plans.

    • Assist Service Users where appropriate with all care connected with daily living, mobility, dressing undressing, bathing, toileting, and nutrition.

    • Help promote social activity within the Home and help Service Users to participate in chosen activities in their local community.

    • Attending the laundry of Service Users in a hygienic manner, maintaining a high standard and respect of personal clothing and possessions.

    • Always maintain good hygiene standards, as per the homes policy.

    • Report any concerns, worries or ill health of Service Users to the person in charge.

    • Provide and participate in activities, and/or outings for the Service User – provide a sense of well-being and maximise quality of life.

    The above is a broad representation and not necessarily a comprehensive list. Additional responsibilities will be agreed from time to time as the needs of the Home will dictate. Any major variation to the key tasks will be subject of discussion and agreement between the post holder and manager.
